In ancient Rome, Gladiators had to be proficient with all manner of weapons and venues. Do you remember that there once was  a time when to become national champion a  driver had to be able to not only  strap on a fire breathing dirt car, race paved ovals, or  coax a twitchy rear engine car around a road course as well? Truly the definition of “champion”.  Perhaps you’ve just heard about "the old days," and wondered what it must have been like to have raced on such a wide variety of tracks and conditions. Well your curiosity is about to be satisfied.  You’re going to take a trip back in time...when turbines shocked the field at Indy, and the Springfield mile was on the schedule. You’ll see sidecars, coyotes, wildcats, eagles and Offys; J.C. Agajanian with his cowboy hat and Grant King with his welding Helmet.
